Aaron Smith

On November 21st 1988, in Fielding in Manawatu, the All Blacks greatest Half-back was born and named Aaron Smith. He is currently playing for the Otago Highlanders.

He went to Fielding High school. In his early days he began training as a hairdresser but later moved on to Rugby. In 2008, Aaron smith was apart of a under 20's NZ team, which won the Junior World Championship in 2010. His first game for NZ Maori side was in 2012 against Ireland.

In 2015 he became a Super Rugby Champion with the Highlanders and won a world cup with the All Blacks.

He is currently Playing for the Highlanders and hopes to be their for longer.

Dirty Water Task

DAY 1 AIM: TO SET UP THE FILTRATION SYSTEM AND MAKE WATER CLEAN

Method:

We stirred the water,  added 100mL of the dirty water into a different beaker and later added 100mL of clean water then stirred that for 2 minutes. Tip out the original 100mL of dirty water, and repeat the step

What is she famous for?
She led the famous 1975 land march that started in North land to Parliament to protest against  the continuing loss of Maori land.

Where is she from?
Northen Hokianga, Te karaka

What is her Culture/Iwi?
She is Maori and her iwi is Te Rarawa

When was she born?
9 December 1895

My game

 For the last 6 weeks we have been working on a game, that surrounds around NZ. Our game focused on Jonah Lomu and Kina diving. I haven't managed to finish the game yet, but I think itll be very fun and I hope people will enjoy it.

Term 2 Week 1 Reflection

It's the first week back at school and I've been very excited. I've had an amazing week, a couple of new teachers and a lot of fun activities. It's been nice seeing all of my friends again and catching up with one an other. I've had a good all round week that I hope will continue for the week

Who was Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was a Civil Rights leader who fought for all humans to be equal. He fought for it because the non-white people were segregated (Separated, Divided) from each other from whites. He spent a long time in prison due to his protests, and also planned to bomb certain building but he didn't want anyone to be hurt. be he became a hero to people. He later became the president of South Africa. His hard work paid off when all races were aloud to vote.
