Tane Mahuta

I am apart of the Tane Mahuta group
Our job is to Clean the environment and keep the earth clean.

Today, period 1 & 2 we were in the school garden picking up rubbish. We got put our self into groups of 2.

In my group it was Callum & I.

But Callum, Kody and I worked together, we made a giant hole and we found around 3 or 4 bottles also approximately 40 pieces of rubbish.

Callum & I only filled 2 bags of rubbish.

It was pretty fun and I thought it was going to be super boring but it turned out fun.

Stop Motion

What is stop motion? Stop motion is a type of digital art mixed with real life art. It's a long process making one but in the end it looks really cool.

Before you start recording your stop motion you need to decide your 1. Setting 2. Characters  3. Script and last you need to work on the different angles like Birds Eye view, Worms Eye View, Close up and Further back.

We worked in groups in my group we had Neihana, Kadyn and Myself.

The teachers gave us three option of what type of stop motion we would like to do the three options were, Claymation, Toys/Puppets and Whiteboard. My group chose Toys/Puppets.

We had to make a storyboard. We have finished making our storyboard. Now all we have to do is film the 20 second+ stop motion video.

The Treaty Of Waitangi

The treaty of waitangi was signed on the 6th of February 1840. The Maori and British signed the treaty of Waitangi to share the land of harmony. The treaty of Waitangi was signed in the bay of islands. There are 2 versions of the treaty of Waitangi A Maori version and an English version. Waitangi Day has been celebrated since 1974. The treaty of Waitangi had a misunderstanding leading to conflict between the two countries. We started learning about Waitangi on Tuesday but I already knew a lot about Waitangi. On Waitangi Day a lot of people have hangi for dinner but I'm my family we just have roast which is still good though. How do you celebrate Waitangi Day?

Would You Rather

Today in reading our teacher got us to discuss what we would chose. (aka Would you rather) We got handed a sheet with 20 would you rather questions on it and we had to pick 2 of them and type why we chose that answer. Everyone had to work in buddy's my buddy was Caleb. With the 2 questions me and Caleb had different reasoning for why we selected that pick. HERE IS THE WORK 😊😀😁
