For this week, we started to do calendar art. first, we had to choose between 3 different types of art: happy hearts, skyline/city scape, and a decorative koru. I chose the koru. First, we made drafts and practices. Next, we started to make our real ones on a special calendar paper. After that, we coloured in our drawings. Here is my calendar art with no vivid and with vivid.
Hi Evan, I'm Deakyn from Awahono School. How long did it take you to draw this and think of how to draw it? I really liked how you put lots of detail into your drawing and put the koru in the picture, since that's what you picked. The part I liked most was the colour, you put heaps of colour into your drawing, and would have taken some time to draw it. Maybe next time you do a drawing like this, you could make the subject the normal colour. One more thing, when you do your introduction make sure to check over when you're finished because I spotted a mistake. After the first full stop you didn't put a capital letter.
